The Triglav, with its 2,864 meters, is the highest mountain of the Julian Alps and of all of Slovenia. The landscape, both the route and the summit, is superb.
The starting point of the excursion of the itinerary I followed is in the Krma Valley car park, which is reached by a track in very good condition, suitable for any tourism, It takes you to the village of Mojstrana, located next to the freeway that goes from Ljubljana to Jesenice, where you have to leave it. The altitude of the car park is 850 meters.
Made in one day, the slope is very important, 2,100 meters, the last 400 for a field in general quite exposed, although the fact that it has been equipped with cables and iron bars attached to the rock, significantly diminishes the sensation of insecurity and dizziness. But for those who are not accustomed to this kind of terrain, it is essential that they use self-insurance systems in the "via ferrata" way.
The route is signposted all with red circles with the white interior. In case of clear day, it has no special guidance problems.
Departing from the Krma Valley parking lot at 850 meters of altitude and after 3.30 to 4.30 hours of road, you will arrive without any technical difficulty in the refuge of "Dom Planika" at 2,401 meters. From here, the path ascends along the southern slope of the mountain, the last 400 meters to the summit, are what often require high attention due to its verticality.
The summit, if it is a summer day, is usually quite visited, you will hardly be alone. The view is magnificent, (pity on that kind of rocket that the Slovenes have mounted and that I do not know its meaning).
The descent made it on the North side, equally equipped, also with steps exposed from a similar difficulty to the South, until you reach the refuge "Triglavski Dom", located at 2,515 meters. Here we can rest a little while we rest our food and liquids. Once the forces are rested, we will follow the indications of the path that will be returned to us by the eastern part of the mountain ridge of the mountain in a small hour at the refuge "Dom Planika". From here, we will only have to take the path up to the Krma Valley car park.
Made in a single day, the total duration including a stop to rest and eat, is about 12 hours. It is also possible to do in two days going to sleep in the refuge with prior reservation.

Josep
Sort!. Ja em direu com us ha anat
