Es un trekking/ascensión muy interesante y recomendable al mezclar deporte con turismo ya que se visita el Atlas y posteriormente se puede hacer turismo en Marrakech.
Para hacer la ascencion y la bajada del Toukbal al refugio de forma circular hay algun paso complicado.
Realmente no existe ningún paso complicado.
