Itinerary description
Hiking to Iceland's second highest peak, 2.044 m high. starting at 25 m elevation and going through an moderate terrain, no technically difficult obstacles on the way. Just pounding with the legs.
A beautiful sunny and warm day with a great group of people.
At 1000 meters of altitude we went into the line, chord.
The only point where we had to do some slightly challenging stuff was at the peak where it is steep and we installed insurances with ropes and fixtures.
This is not Sveinstindur near Langisjor.
