Itinerary description
Dare I say it but an improvement of the classic Snowdon Horseshoe? The unpleasant, scrappy descent from Snowdon summit to Bwlch y Saethau is replaced with a descent of the Miner's Track to Glaslyn, followed by a Grade 1 scramble ascent of Cribau to Bwlch y Saethau. From here the route continues in the normal manner over Y Lliwedd. More scrambling in keeping with the rest of the route for a bit more effort
