Itinerary description

Started off at the farm Horn in Skorradalur and went to Mt. Skessuhorn. The summit was occasionally cloudy when we started and when we got there, there was fog. Stopped there for about 20 minutes and continued then onwards to Mt. Skarðaheiði and the summit called Heiðarhorn, "clear sky" there. Unfortunately I had some problems with my Garmin so I could only track from peak of Heiðarhorn and down to one of our cars which we left at Farm Efra-Skarð. But I managed to save about 80 co-ordinates and have included those, not sure how to combine all in one track but if anyone knows how please leave a comment, thanks. Total about ca 15-16 km. Most tricky part I would say was from Skessuhorn over to Skarðsheiði. But if one is afraid of heights these are not the mountains to climb ;) The total time was about 6-7 hrs, and the terrain was rather difficult.

I forgot to add here after changes of the track that Jordi, the founder of wikiloc, was able to help me to add the saved coordinates to the track down from Mt. Heiðarhorn and make the whole track as one. But there are some points missing where I couldn't save so this track is not to be followed exactly all the way just to give approximate view of the way to pass over to Mt Skarðsheiði and Mt Heiðarhorn from Mt Skessuhorn. And big thanks to Jordi for your help and to make Wikiloc real for all us members :)
