Itinerary description
The weather forecast for the day was good, but once we were almost on top the clouds came in and it started snowing. Visibility was unfortunately zero, and without pre-loaded GPS data it would have been very difficult to find the trail down on the south side.
I hope this description and GPS data might help someone else.
The northern route is basically just straight forward up to the peak without a trail. The way down was a bit more difficult due to the snow and iced rocks, combined with scrambling and trail finding.
We had a coffee and lunch break in the cave. From there we kept on following the trail and GPS data down until we were out of the clouds and soon a real trail with plenty of beacons appeared.
We walked all the way to Gerrit's Farm who we had organized a pick up with the previous day to drop us back at our car.
