Hiking route along the famous Queen's Route between the towns of Sto and Nyksund (it is clear that the queen only made the coastal section that connects the two towns, the part of the inteior and more mountaineers is for the mortal mountaineers)
We start the route in the town of Sto inland to return along the coast (clockwise). We begin ascending and losing sight of the sea by the most mountainous part of the route to reach the top of an old glacial cirque and chain several peaks. After crowning the last, begins the descent to a hill. From here, to the left, you can go to the charming village of Kyksund (add about 3 km more round trip to the route). We decided to go right downhill to get to the beach and get a polar bath (then we went to Nyksund with the car, which is worth it). Beautiful excursion with alpine character and that combines peaks and beaches, something not very usual.
The circular route in total is about 12 km, 800 m height and 5 hours. Enjoy it.
