Itinerary description
A beautiful trail along the Ropojanska valley and up to lakes valley on the Albanian border (buni i jezerce). The walk along the valley is easy with very moderate ascent. A few minutes from the start you can visit the "Oko" - a stream flowing from underground. I left the main valley track east and climbed to katun Zastan and from there inside a magnificent forest to the Albanian border. The view from the border pass is incredible - high snowy mountain peaks and green lakes bellow. On the way back I continued along the Ropojanska valley to the large Ropojanska lake, and than back to the starting point.
