Itinerary description
Another failed attempt by us to climb an alpine peak.
Naively we thought this was going to be ok without any equipment (we had spoken to people and they confirmed it was ok) but what we hadn’t considered was the snow that had fallen last weekend. Although not lots when you’re just in approach shoe any is a problem so we had to turn round at 3090m.
On the way back we popped up to a few marked points to punish ourselves with more uphill. There was a sign pointing to the Glacier so we went there but there’s no Glacier anymore and then there’s the cross above the cable car station so we went there too.
