Itinerary description
Mapped in Nov 2009 with a Garmin 60csx by Maximo Kausch. The route is named "glaciar colgante" which means Hanging Glacier. Most of it, up to about 5500m is hard/rotten snow climbing (about 45/55 degree), then ice climbing+traverse on hard verglass (about 65 degree) then easy snow climbing (35/40 degree). There is a bergschrund shown on the map. You need 2 snow bars, 4 or 5 steel ice screws and a double 60m rope
