IMPORTANT NOTE: THE DIFFICULTY WITH WHICH I CATALOG MY ROUTES IS REFERRED TO MOUNTAINS USED TO WALK, WHO UNWIND WITH FACE ON ALL THE LAND, NOT FOR OCCASIONAL HIKERS. IF YOU HAVE LITTLE EXPERIENCE, ADD ONE MORE DEGREE TO THE DIFFICULTY OF MY ROUTES SO YOU WILL NOT GET SURPRISES
Short and attractive walk in the surroundings of the Concordia Camp, in the heart of the Karakorum. A totally sunny day dawned (it would have been better to take advantage of it to follow the route to Ali Camp and have attacked the Gondogoro-La port as soon as possible) with absolutely magnificent views. The day before when we arrived at the camp it was totally closed and snowing, so discovering such a landscape the next morning was a real surprise. At the head of the store we had the majestic and pyramidal K2, at its side the Broad Peak and behind the Miter peaks among others. It was really difficult to focus attention on a single point since the show was served everywhere.
We walked aimlessly, following my intuition to look for attractive corners that could be reached without special equipment, going up some frozen rock and approaching the greenish rivers that flowed down everywhere on the white ice of this amazing stretch of glacier.
