Itinerary description

“Papiko reloaded” – original recommended
“Papiko from Vronti B not recommended - experiment

This is the most beautiful climbing route that starts from Vronti B ... it is the second attempt to reach Papiko over the ridge. The first attempt gave me an overview to plan the trail. It is a very difficult route and some passages are very dangerous, but for someone who likes climbing it is one
perfect combination between performance and durability plus the divine panoramic views.
Due to my greed, I messed up the route and the recording.

I reached the Papiko an hour faster than calculated, which motivated me to follow the right ridge of Papiko further instead of than planned at the waypoint "MOUNTAIN PASS" height 1265 m. have to turn right to, not miss the connection to the Vronti B ridge as can be seen in the picture.
The plan was to explore the right ridge of Papiko, stay on the ridge to the end go down to the sand road Epar.Od.Komotini-Kerasiasstrasse and reaching Vronti B via the sand road.
Unfortunately, the second half of the ridge emerges in a very thick and overgrown area impenetrable forcing me to cancel my plan then I started a steep descent down to Monastir Street.

I tried to get to the originally planned part of the route via Monastir Street at high speed and continue to descend to Vronti B as planned. However, twilight has already struck then I realized that I would not want to descend to Vronti B in the dark.
Then I decided to walk back down Monastirstrasse to the intersection with Epar.Od.Komotini-Kerasiasstrasse and across to Vronti B, in the dark i was on the safe side.

Possibly, I will go the regular planned trail again, but do I have to get a 4xWD car, Epar.Od.Komotini-Kerasiasstrasse is very difficult to drive on with normal cars, especially drive there to the starting point, return a little better.

In any case, under "Papiko reloaded" is the original route, which works wonderfully.
The last part I didn't do, looked ok ,just right
turn into the mountain pass at "MOUNTAIN PASS" height 1265 m.

Thank you ..well, you have so many no name peaks, we have slowly try to assign the names ... ha, ha, ha.
The trail is difficult to very difficult, it is also not signposted, and there are small sections of the old trails to be seen. Der Trail is very interesting and different, extraordinary. The descent behind the Papiko is the right path, as I have described it. Anyway, it is a lot of fun and panorama.
