You have to pay the entrance fee to the park and arrive on the road that comes from Nanyoki, taking the exit towards the main park booth. At the booth, present the reservations for the corresponding days for people and vehicles separately in the case of non-residents.
Classic route passing through three different valleys, in the third you have to travel through the valley gaining altitude on the left side of the bank until you reach the bridge to cross. Do not use the trail on the other side of the valley because it is a trail for zebras, buffaloes, hyenas, leopards, among others.
Continue past the caves, from where you cross one last valley before continuing uphill to reach Shipton's Camp.
Shipton's Camp is a very comfortable lodge, per night per person is approximately 3,000 Kenyan Shillings.
We do not hire porters or cooks, but doing so is the most common practice. Doing the entire route to Point Lenana and back to Moses Camp in two days was demanding, but completely doable. I recorded it in three segments because I had low battery in the watch; the next segment is Shipton's Camp to Point Lenana.
It is best to hire a guide.
