Itinerary description

This hike will lead you to one of the most beautiful panoramas of Switzerland. A truly impressive wall of 4000s that include the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau, but there is more. Things start to get exciting near the beautiful waterfall in Lauterbrunnen, when exiting the train from Interlaken at the train station just turn right and then you will see on your left the cable car that will take you to Grütschalp, . In Grütschalp there will also be a train waiting to take you to Murren. In Murren train station you are already at this hike start. Two thirds of the hike will be tough but a normal hike. The last third will be more technical and you will need crampons and piolet for your safety. If the weather starts to close to much be careful since you may start to get difficulty to see the abyss on your side. But there will be ropes signaling the more dangerous sections, so nothing impossible. When you arrive at Schilthorn top station you can enter through the ski run door, there is a button on the left side of the door that you should press to open it. To get down you can take the cable car that will take you back to Murren, you can buy the ticket on the shop.
