Itinerary description
Climb to Mt. Gigilos in the white mountain in Crete. The tril is about 5km (one way) with 750m height difference. Up until the col (~480m ascent) the walk is straightforward, with nice views of the Omalos plateau, the begining of Samaria gorge the col and special rock formations. From the col to the peak (another ~250m) it's mostly rock scrambling which might be a bit challaenging in 2-3 points, espcially if you miss the signs. The views from the peak and above the clouds include the gorges and mountains around.
