Itinerary description

The access from Mt Dana to the Dana Plateau can be quite challenging! It requires proficiency in scrambling (and climbing). We made the traverse below the western side of the ridge, facing the Dana Lake. While on top of Mt Dana you can orientate/prepare yourself for the traverse. During this traverse you pass through a few 'amphitheatres', these you can count while on top of Mt Dana. A wee snow field help us find the location where to exit the traverse and exit onto the plateau. You might want to bring a helmet to protect yourself from rockfall.
