Itinerary description
We camped out at Helen Lake to make for a quick and easy push to the summit. Our route took us underneath, and then through a tight chute in the redbanks. We were advised that earlier in the season this route isn't advisable (snow makes things too steep), but it was a more direct and interesting route than most parties took.
