Itinerary description
Lyngbrekkutindur is a nunatak in Breiðamerkurjökull glacier. This track extends from the cabin owned by the Icelandic Glaciological Society to the peak, via a lower hillock (it was foggy - we initially thought we were heading for the correct summit!). The ascent is easy - though when we were there the risk of avalanches was probably non-trivial.
