Itinerary description
Lugauer is a majestic mountain and due to its shape, it is sometimes called the “Matterhorn of Styria”. In reality, it’s made up of two peaks: south-west (2,217 m) and north-east (2,206 m) which are separated by the Lugauerscharte (2,152 m).
At first glance it doesn't seem very complicated to climb, but in winter conditions, with a lot of snow, the first part is quite demanding!
