Itinerary description
Las Tortolas is a beautiful mountain over 6,000 metres high in the La Serena region of Chile. It is a mountain of low difficulty, being the altitude and the bureaucracy its biggest problem.
Access is through Chilean customs at the Agua Negra Pass. However, there is a gate at this access and it is necessary to ask for permission.
As there is no organization on how to ask for this permission and for whom, I suggest you research how to obtain this access before you go.
