Itinerary description

Lambatindur is located in what is probably the most remote part of Iceland. While approaching the mountain, one is presented with a majestic (and probably unclimbable due to poor rock) cliff face, the track takes you behind the mountain from where it is more easily accessed. Be aware, however, that the the rocks are extremely crumbly and the whole mountainside very loose. Follow the same track back and note that below the steep and loose slope there are semi-vertical cliffs. For pictures click title.
