Itinerary description

Located in the SE of Iceland, overlooking a military radar site and the village of Höfn, is Klifatindur. To climb it you follow the old road (access from inside the tunnel would be difficult!) to the parking lot. The ascent is straightforward except that when you come to the point marked "switch" you have to switch from the NW face to the SE one - otherwise you're soon into serious scrambling and rock climbing.
