Itinerary description

Every spring, on the weekend closest to the spring equinox, the Útivist Hiking Club organises a trip to the top of Mount Keilir, a small cone-shaped mountain (or hill!) located halfway between Reykjavík and Keflavík. Most years the weather is horrible, it is in fact quite common for the wind to prevent a large part of the group from making it to the top of this 380 metre high mound!
