Itinerary description
A circuit of Kálfstindar - return via Laugarvatnsvellir. If you follow this path, don't cut the slope during the ascent like I did, just walk to directly north of the peak and go straight up - it's the path most free of loose rocks and sand. The descent is tricky if there are more than one due to loose gravel and rocks. The view at the top is great of Þingvallavatn and Hengill to the southwest, Hrafnabjörg to the northwest, Ármansfell and Botnssúlur further on and Skaldbreiður, Skriða and Hlöðufell to the north
