THE GREAT CHALLENGE, K2 (8,611m)
K2 is an expedition for those seeking an extreme adventure and who have previously experienced mountaineering in the Himalayas. Despite being the second highest peak in the world, some climbers may underestimate the difficulties one must endure during the ascent, an excellent level of mountaineering experience is required.
We will not carry out a basic K2 program, without guarantees and acting only as simple intermediaries with the companies that have the logistics of the base camps, altitude and material on site.
Our Director, Jordi Tosas, a mountaineer with more than 30 years of experience in the Karakorum and the Himalayas, together with our entire team of multidisciplinary experts, will create a tailored, personal plan based on your experience to reach K2 with the greatest success. guarantees of success.
K2 Base Camp, CLIMB K2
K2 has been successfully completed by about 400 people in its entire history. If we compare it with the more than 11,000 who have climbed Everest, we can see the complexity and challenge that this mountain represents.
The climb to the top of Mount K2 is considered more difficult than Everest due to its steepness and unpredictable weather. The expedition also lacks experienced Sherpas and there is a high risk of frequent avalanches. In fact, it is a technical climb from day one that includes glacial ice, snow and rock, regardless of the route.

ITINERARY
Each case will be studied personally depending on previous experience. After completing Challenge 1 (Private Campus) a joint plan will be developed with times and costs for the final objective.
Challenge 1
PRIVATE CAMPUS TO KNOW LEVEL
Private campus of 4-5 days in the Alps or in a chosen mountain range together with our Director carrying out different alpine activities where we can evaluate the level we are starting from and begin to develop a plan to follow.
Challenge 2
EXPEDITION 6000
We will look for a 6000′ to do as the next step in the training process.
Challenge 3
EXPEDITION 7000
We will look for a 7000′ to do as the next step in the training process.
Challenge 4
EXPEDITION 8000
We will look for an 8000′ to do as the next step in the training process.
Challenge 5
THE GREAT CHALLENGE, THE K2
With all the preparation and training work done behind us, we will be able to face K2 with many more guarantees of success.
The program for K2 is usually around 50 days. It will take us about 12 days from our arrival in Islamabad to the base camp with an internal flight to Skardu and the subsequent approach trekking.
Once installed in the base camp we will have around 30 days to carry out a good acclimatization and find the best window of time to reach the summit.
