Itinerary description

The tour starts at Jorasse cable car station. You can also start the tour in Ovronnaz but it adds another 1h to get there and back.
Make sure to start early if you want to make it on the last cable car, which runs at 17:00.

1.) Jorasse (1939m) to Euloi (2100m)
The first part from Jorasse to Petit-Pré is easy. It requires a little climbing but there's a rope. After ca 25min you reach Petit-Pré. From Petit-Pré to Euloi takes another 15 minutes.

2.) Euloi (2100m) to Cabane du Fenestral (2454m)
Here starts the ascent to Cabane de Fenestral. It gets pretty steep towards the end. Bring a windstopper. It's always very windy around the hut. This year the hut is closed because of renovation. From here you got a fantastic view from the Lac Sup. De Fully.

3.) Cabane du Fenestral (2454m) to Dent de Morcles (2969m)
Here starts the alpine hiking trail. It is well marked with yellow dots and blue/white markings. It takes about 3 hours from and to the cabane du Fenestral. It's 3 hours well spent. The views are breathtaking. The trail is quite easy but if you want to go to the summit it requires some climbing and a small jump over a crevice. Bring good shoes and trekking poles.
