Itinerary description
Climbing Hvalfell allows one to enjoy views of Iceland's highest waterfall ("Glymur") as well as the surrounding mountains, the closest of which are Botnssúlur. One the way down one should make a point of stopping at the various little waterfalls in the Hvalskarðsá river, they are really pretty.
