Itinerary description
The first part is by 4x4 jeep and then by foot. Alternative track in winter and spring when the road to the north of Hekla is closed. Note that the 4x4 track might be unpassabe because of snow during the winter and by mud in the spring.WARNING - There are geotermal areas hidden by snow by the ridge leading to the summit. Be careful!
