Itinerary description
Hasan Dagi in Aksaray, end of March, with 20-50cm of fresh snow overnight. The bus managed to drop us off at 1500m due to heavy snow. Followed the asfalt road (under 20cm snow cover) to 2004m where we camped below a large rock formation. Heavy snow cover in the evening and through the night. Left camp at 9:30am barely made it to 2800m at 2pm. Intention was then to cut across east and catch the ridgeline to the summit but we couldn't gain any more altitude with snow abt 1m deep. As the weather was getting warmer, decided to head back down.
