Mount Grintovec, with its 2,558 meters, is the highest peak of the Kamnik and Savinja Alps in Slovenia, and we have climbed it on a beautiful but physical circular route, due to the positive slope accumulated in a few kilometers. The route itself only has the last section as technical, from the Mlinarsko Sedlo pass to the top. Some aerial procedures and others on the edge, although they are well protected with cables and steps. Simple for any mountaineer accustomed to high mountain areas, you can take the ferrata kit if you want to ensure some climbing and downclimbing. The descent along the normal, easy path, to the refuge (Cojzova koča na Kokrskem sedlu) where the paths join again, and from here to the small parking lot where we have parked the van. Recommended route although it lasts physically for almost +2000 positive slope. We have had a very foggy day when we passed 1500 meters high, so we have not been able to observe this magnificent area of mountains, only at the summit we had some clearing.
