Itinerary description
Departing from Fedaia pass, this trail goes alongside the lake for a couple of kilometers before entering a bit of scrambling to reach the base of the Ferrata.
Adequate ferrata gear is a must. The ferrata as of today (Jul/2009) is not in perfect shape as there are sections of the first ramp that are missing cables and have cables in very bad condition. Be aware and climb very carefully.
Once you reach the ridge the conditions of the cables improve significantly and it is very safe from there, and very scenic.
Very exposed and fun, I strongly recommend it! (about 6 hours total)
The way back is by the funivia (lift).
