Itinerary description
A fairly easy hike - the trick is getting to the trailhead, this requires a serious 4x4 truck. I've shown the location of cairns along the way - these can help in poor visibity. Note that Eiríksjökull is an ice cap - though the likelihood of crevasses is minimal on the track shown - all bets are off if you stray.

Great information!!! Do you know of any guides that can go there? We are not very experienced but want to do this hike safely. And also, looking at satelital maps we can see a beautiful blue lagoon on this glacier. Is it accesible ? Thanks!
