Itinerary description
Starting at the Sport Hotel on the Pokljuka plateau, we climbed these two summits that have thrilling views to the northern Julian Alps. The route is beautiful through some pretty forests. We followed the route explained in the guide ‘Walking the Julian Alps of Slovenia’, by Roy Clark and Justi Carley. They suggest to climb also a third summit, Lipanski vrh, but we didn’t reach it (avoiding a steep section).
