Winter climb to Malka Todorka.
We start from the Banderitsa refuge following the yellow markings through a forest of black pine and fir.
Arriving at the Vihren refuge we again follow the yellow markings, we cross the beautiful valley with the Banderitsa river and the beautiful alpine lakes that we find scattered throughout our route.
As we circle Todorka and after passing the alpine Lake Frog, our ascent begins and becomes more arduous up to the "Doors" point.
Here now we follow the ridge, it needs attention because there are formations of rocks and stones so some experience is needed.
Continuing the climb in about half an hour we will reach the Malka Todorka peak at 2712m. altitude.
The return is made by the same if you want to make some detours to admire the lakes up close, all paths lead to the Ref Vihren refuge.
*** The climb took place in bad weather, snowfall, Strong winds, fog and very cold, so the climb stopped at the first peak.
At a distance of about one km, the other two peaks Todorka 2 follow at 2,713m. and Todorka at 2748m.
