3--bahador summit رشته کوه سهند 3---- قله بهادر ( چاخ چاخ) از ده گنبر اذرشهر

Sahand, is a massive, heavily eroded stratovolcano in northwestern Iran. At 3,707 m, it is the highest mountain in the Iranian province of East Azarbaijan.

It is one of the highest mountains in Iranian Azerbaijan, in addition to being an important dormant volcano in the country. The Sahand mountains are directly south of Tabriz, the highest peak of them is Kamal (کمال) at an elevation of 3,707 m. Approximately 17 peaks can be accounted for as being over 3,000 m. in height. Due to the presence of a variety of flora and fauna, the Sahand mountains are known as the bride of mountains in Iran.

On the north foot of the mountain and near the city of Tabriz, a winter sport's complex has been built. This complex, also known as the Sahand Skiing Stadium, greets visitors with a variety of sports including, skiing and snowboarding. The snow statue competition, which runs once a year at mid-winter in the stadium is a famous and amusing event, which attracts spectators and competitors from all over the country.

Bahador summit located in the west corner of sahand chain and just in the south east of Gonbar village and north east of Harkalan water fall (we hiked it before) . first of all you have to follow Azarshahr road from east and after passing Germezigol, Cheragli, Majarshin, Kord abad you arrive Gonbar village and this is the start point of tracking, turn right and pass from a bridge then follow the road and from valley continue about 6 kilometers now you see summit in front of yourself but a little in right, try to climb zigzag and get summit. this tracking for take summit needs about 2.5 - 3 hour and round trip considering resting in summit needs about 6 hour at all, in the way there are a lot of herbals, specially yarpez (pennyroyal). our program reviewed by Mr sarhang Musanejad (سرهنگ موسی نژاد) and the leader of program was Mr Jahani (جهانی).

We hiked this summit with 40 members of group on May 2014, May and even June is the best time . In about 20 June there is a "red rose festival" for harvest red rose, this product in Iran normally distilled for rose-water, and use as a seasoning in different foods like yogurt, pudding and even borani. we enjoyed a lot.

برنامه هفتگی گروه صعود به قله بهادر از روستای گنبرف بود

درفاصله 10 کیلومتری جنوب شهرستان اسکو، آنجا که رود و کوه به هم می رسند، دست طبیعت یکی از شاهکارهای ممتاز خود را آفریده است و روستای گنبرف را دردامن طبیعت خلق کرده است. روستای گنبرف که بین اهالی این روستا و روستاهای تابعه آن به "گون بر" شناخته می شود، در زبان فارسی مترادف با "آفتاب گیر" است، به عنوان یکی از زیباترین روستاهای آذربایجان شرقی شناخته می شود. رود فصلی "سئل چایی" ، واقع شدن در دامنه کوه سهند، آب طبیعتی بکربرای این منطقه به ارمغان آورده است و بستری مساعد برای رشد و بالندگی این روستا را فراهم کرده است. گلهای محمدی با عصاره های بهشتی به عنوان یکی از نمادهای هویتی این روستا شناخته می شود و این موهبت الهی را به عنوان منبعی برای در آمد اهالی این روستا قرار داده است. روستای گنبرف، با چهارهزار نفرجمعیت، از روستاهای پرجمعیت آذربایجان شرقی شناخته می شود که بر اساس اعلام نظر برخی از مقامات محلی قرار است زمینه های تبدیل این روستا به شهر فراهم شود.
