To get to the car park you have to travel about 17 km on the road, first with very bumpy asphalt and then along a track that is in poor condition in some parts and you have to go first class, it will take us more than an hour, but carefully climb all the cars.
Once over the path and in the parking lot we will make a circular route, the path is very pleasant and with beautiful views. Immediately there is a steep slope that we will not leave until the summit, when we reach the rocky area there are cables installed to help progression and avoid falls, we wore a harness but we did not get to put them on, if we grabbed the cables at some point. There will be 4 or 5 wired zones.
When we come out of the pass the worst is over and in a few minutes we will reach the top of Maglic at 2,386 m. the views from here are superb, magnificent, now the weather is with us, nothing to do with the Dinara several days ago. We grab a bite and take in the fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, there are hundreds of them and we are in no hurry. From the parking lot to the summit there are only 2 km.
We descend on another side different from the one of the ascent, this first section has a little unevenness, then we will continue along the ridge of the mountain for about 3.3 km. with good views, we reach the pass that has to be taken to reach the Trnovacko Jezero lake, an alpine lake in the shape of a heart, from here the views of the lake and the mountains that surround it are surprisingly beautiful, after taking many photos , we begin to descend with a steep slope but without any difficulty, the trail zigzags until we reach the foot of the lake, the picnic area, the bar there, where we had a beer and found out that we were in Montenegro, the beer, the lake between mountains made us spend a very pleasant time, broken only by the guard who yelled at the hikers to pay the euro that it cost to enter the natural park, by the way in Montenegro the official currency is the Euro.
After this break, we follow a descending section with many trees and we arrive at a beautiful valley, the point at which we begin to climb until we reach the parking lot.
Route not recommended for people who are not used to the mountains or for fear of exposed sections.
