The Damavand of 5,671 meters represents the maximum height of Iran and is the highest volcano in Asia. His ascension does not present great technical demands, but requires a great physical preparation and good acclimatization, since important slopes are saved in a few days.
Located in the mountain range of Alborz (or Elburz), on a clear day, from its summit you can see the Caspian mas. Although without news of its last eruption, the volcano has a small activity in the form of sulfur gas emissions.
We will complete the trip traveling to Shiraz, Persepolis and Tehran to discover the secrets of the hospitable Persian culture.
