Beautiful route without technical difficulty.
We do it in 6:30 at a good pace, 8 hours is a normal time.
The path goes through lush jungle vegetation with huge trees covered in moss and ferns.
A couple of hours up the road you will see magnificent views of snow-capped mountains, with the Franz Josef glacier in the foreground.
At the top the views are well worth the effort.
