Itinerary description

Siah Sangha route (from summitpost.org):
The easiest route to the summit from north face. Ice, snow and conditions may still make it a technical climb. From Alam Chal Glacier (4200m) go up the steep scree slope to the Chaloon(Siahsang) pass (4400m) climb up to Siah Sang Peak(4604m) by the steep rocky ridge, make your way until you are on the southern slopes, bypass Shakhaks and reach Alam Kooh peak

Waypoints

PictographCave Altitude 13,583 ft

Alamchal

Alamchal camping place, put your tent there after finding a flat surface made of stones (might be difficult during Iranian weekend as the mountain is among the most popular in Iran).

Keshtisang

Keshtisang, a massive rock you have to bypass. A small spring on your right (if you are going up and vise versa if heading down) flows there.

Sarchal Shelter

Sarchal shelter, to the best my knowledge there is no water supply at this location.

PictographWilderness hut Altitude 15,000 ft

Siahsang Shelter

Siahsang shelter, very little of comfort you will find there. It is mainly to be used in emergency cases in my opinion.

Vandarbon

Vandarbon shelter, most climbers start from here. The shelter itself is very comfortable and is highly recommended from my point of view.
