Itinerary description
Ride off the beaten tracks along the Youlong river shores with a long break at the Moon hill. Mainly dirt roads and paved village roads with very low traffic. Mountain bike only, especially after or during rain. Extremely beautiful. Best ride we had in our stay in Yangshuo. At the Moon hill we stopped to climb it and to have lunch.
We followed the route provided by our guest house (Giggling Tree) and Wikiloc routes uploaded by other users: without these, it would be difficult to find the tracks. There are no signs at all in the region and the tendency would be to follow the main road which is not very pleasant. This applies to all Yangshuo area so my advice is to get some routes beforehand into your device or get good instructions from your hotel. Last option is to hire a guide.
To visualize it don't use google maps as they seem not to be properly displayed in China.

Excellent trip.
We did this with electric bike, but would not recommend it since some of the places are hard to pass with (lots of rocks).
Perfect for bicycle. Thanks!
