Route through Shoaib Valley (Wadi Shoaib), west of Amman. On this route there is no time for mental relaxation, unless we stop and enjoy the views, since either we are suffering in the ascents, or concentrated in the descents. The technical difficulty varies a lot depending on the time. In winter and autumn, it will be short and in summer we will suffer a lot. You have to go with water although there is a small shop halfway, once we take the road with a steep slope, it is on the left (approx 9'5 km of the route). They do not have much but enough for what we need in case of a lot of heat, as was our case today ... my car marked 47ºC !!!!

I've done this route a few times, really like it! The only thing is that the last part, we really had to walk, as it was just too rocky, there were many dogs at the end also, so we had to take a shortcut for avoiding them. Another option is just to take the paved road on your way back, so as to avoid those dogs and having to walk large parts.
Uffff, I remember dogs there were more like angry wolfs!! Careful…
