Itinerary description

Map coordinates N25'33.648' and E056'05.377'. Car park off road under lone tree just plus of the disused electricity sub station. Anticlockwise is by far the best way around this trail. Great ride for novice riders and the uphill climb (after about 10 clicks) whilst steep in parts is definitely worth the effort for the ride down and around the mountains to complete a loop. Spectacular scenery throughout but watch out for occasional trucks as there is a lot of quarrying etc going on. The photos of this second ride are very different from the first as we had as a group with much cooler weather, welcome rain at the top of the mountain followed by a warm drying wind from the north west. Fun group ride.

hi Chance, thank you for this track. Perfect, has it all, views are amazing, rocks all over, big challenge uphill, "make sure your breaks are ok" when coming down! Your lonely tree coordinates so spot on!

One thing though... to my opinion, this is no "novice rider" material. Depends on what novice means... for those who read this and are really getting started with your mountain bike... my advice is don't try this track first off... find some others tracks less challenge uphill (it's full 3 kms truly steep)... and bit less technical on the flat part of it (it's literally riding over rocks in many parts).

but when you ve done a few easier tracks.. make sure you come back here! and you ll love it.
