Itinerary description

taken from Chance Wilson equal track, we did this in Jan2015, we went after heavy rain days in UAE, makes landscape even better, some water here and there. The Wadi and the magma formations are breathtaking... the track is great, gets tecnichal on rock tracks for quite many kms at the beginning but flat, so to enjoy, then it goes 3 kms incredible hard uphill, so if need to walk the bike up, so be it, worth the while, then from the top, it's all over road asphalt, going down, you want to check your breaks before going down this hill, road takes you back to the car at starting point.
I give moderate but the uphill is a big challenge, though not an issue if you just walk it, but parts of the track are very rocky so if you go you want to have a good bike with you, and if you never have been on a mountain bike over rocks, just dont be surprised... on the other hand if you like rocks under your wheels, you ll enjoy the first few flat kms!
Maybe needless to say... but... water, and some caloric food, with you.. plenty of water.. when we did this it was cool... if you do this with heat... I dont know how hard it could get.... Enjoy it!

Done anticlockwise as advised. Quite easy cycle on graded tracks through up the spectacular wadi.
Passed camel farms, vegetable fields, goats and donkeys.
The climb is indeed tough through a few switch backs. Turns to black top near the summit of the pass and thereafter fast downhill all the way back.
