I have followed this trail  View more

I was at holiday in Vichten and upload this route in my Teasi . I have drove this on my MTB and the first 8km was a nice trial until there was no road at all and only a corn field. We have follow the side of this cornfield until we came back on de GPS track, after this challenge we came in a forest but there was no trail or road at al> . This route whas not what I expected and disapointend. So my advise is not to follow this route because some roads are not available because of cornfields or missing trail in the forest. Anyway thanks to Tom to share this GPS route. In the end we had a nice MTB route but not the route we got from this website.

Thanks breije for your comment. Indeed, at km 5,4 there is a tricky passage in the woods, no trail. It is right next to the 'Hochsitz', a hunters wooden house high in the trees. Right next to this is a small 3 m wide passage, the only passage to get through. I agree, if you don't find it, you are lost... My apologies about that, I should have mentioned it. For the rest of the track, it is one of my favorites, especially from km 7.9 to 9 (rough creek valley with wooden bridges to pass - in Austria would be called Klamm) and from km 9,7 to 12,7, a steady long but smooth uphill, absolut must in the late evening hours: the sun reaches through to ignite the trail...
I love to leave the trails and find my way though the woods
