Itinerary description
The Via Aubenas Bike is a challenge which consists of carrying out a complete MTB crossing from Strasbourg (France) to Barcelona (Spain) « via » Aubenas .
There is no specific itinerary that has to be followed, the Via Aubenas is not a fixed Hiking Trail, but simply a polygon within which the journey should be laid out.
A participant should design his own itinerary, following his own criteria (countryside, architecture, passes, lodging, difficulty, speed etc.). Since it’s a question of a MTB crossing one could imagine that a participant would prioritise trails rather than paved roads.
