VEREDA EL TABLAZO-ALTO DEL TORO-LOS SALADOS. Rionegro (Antioquia)

Para hacer esta trocha se parte desde Medellín hasta llegar al Mall Llanogrande, localizado cerca a la ciudad de Rionegro. En dicho sitio se parquea el vehículo y se toma la vía que lleva hacia el aeropuerto José María Córdova, hasta llegar a la entrada hacia el sector de El Tablazo. Alli se toma la trocha que inicia en ascenso hasta llegar al sector del Alto del Toro. En el camino se encuentra uno con el sector de "Los Rieles", que efectivamente corresponden con un trayecto realmente empinado que requiere de buen pedaleo y decisión para coronarlo. El terreno, muy suelto en casi todo el camino lo cual hace la trocha muy técnica.

Al coronar el primer sector, se llega a un portón que conduce hacia el paso de la quebrada La Fé´, un sitio realmente bello.

Luego el retorno se hace por vía pavimentada (se sale cerca a la fonda "La Cantaleta") y se llega al roundpoint que conduce al Retiro y La Ceja. Se toma la salida hacia Llanogrande y se pedalea unos 10 km hasta arribar de nuevo al Mall.

Trocha muy recomendada. Tremendos paisajes!

ENGLISH ROUTE DESCRIPTION:
To do this trail, you start from Medellín until you reach the Llanogrande Mall, located near the city of Rionegro. At this site, park the vehicle and take the road that leads to the José María Córdova airport, until you reach the entrance to the El Tablazo sector. There you take the trail that starts uphill until you reach the Alto del Toro sector. On the way you come across the "Los Rieles" sector, which effectively corresponds to a really steep path that requires good pedaling and determination to reach it. The terrain, very loose almost all the way, which makes the trail very technical.

Upon reaching the first sector, you come to a gate that leads to the pass of the La Fé 'stream, a truly beautiful site.

Then the return is made by paved road (it leaves near the "La Cantaleta" fonda) and reaches the roundpoint that leads to El Retiro and La Ceja. Take the exit towards Llanogrande and pedal for about 10 km until arriving at the Mall again.
