Itinerary description
Biking trail description
This trail is located in Vardaghbyur village of Shirak province. It is very convenient for cross boarding travelers too, who enter in Armenia from Bavra. It passes near Trchkan waterfall, the highest waterfall in Armenia, and ends in Shirakamut village.
Monuments description
Trchkan waterfall is one of the most beautiful natural monuments of Armenia. Starting from the 2011 the adjacent areas became special protected zone by the State.
Flora
Shirak province is very rich with diverse plants, trees and herbs that are used in the traditional medicine.
Fauna
Shirak province has rich and diverse fauna. The well-known ones are wolves, foxes, rabbits, in some places mouflons and bezoars etc.

The mobile connections of Ucom and Viva Cell-MTS functions without interruptions. In case of emergency, call 911 or 112. Be aware of leashed-off dogs in the villages.
