Itinerary description
Start tracking in Valeggio, going up to the castle to enjoy the view, down to Borghetto and passing on the medieval bridge Ponte Visconteo, going on till Pille to reach the nice tiny village Castellaro Lagusello for a quick visit, going on you'll see a big rounded tower from the late 1800, that's San Martino della Battaglia; keep going to Sirmione, bike parked and very quick visit to the narrow roads after Sirmione castle until the top end where you can visit Grotte di Catullo (Catullo's Caves). I had a flat tyre when i left Sirmione. Going back to the right side of the peninsula on lakeview bikepaths where available until Peschiera where you can continue through the great bikepath all along the Mincio River, where i ended up in Valeggio.
