Itinerary description
Best would be to google IMBA Epic Tsali Mouse Branch and Thompson Loops. This is an Epic track by the mountain bike association so description by them in their sites is thorough. So it is at MTBPROJECT.com. Where I found it in the first place!
Some details when doing this: it's not as tough as Left and Right Loops simply because you do some 10 kms less... but... other than that, it is tough, technical, it's all pure forest, roots, ramps, burn legs uphill, burn hands and brakes downhill, again, and again... Fantastic track, perfectly doable, but it does pause a challenge. Also, many kms are done on a tiny singletrack that has pseudo-cliff on one side, either down to the lake or down to a forest slope. Concentration is a must. And careful with traffic both ways.
If you look the track carefully you'll recognise the spot where I parked the bike for a moment and took a great swim in the lake... done in June, 30 celsius day... delicious!
Amazing track, forest and views. This is a must. The park is shared with horse riders so there is a day of the week schedule. I did this on Sunday. The other track (Left and Right Loops I did on Saturday).
At car park you must pay 2 USD per person.

Track goes quite low and close to the water and at that point you can easily walk down some 10 meters and be in front of the water. When did this, June2016, water level was very high, made it easier.
