Itinerary description
Warm up with an easy ride towards the "Task Force Davao" Check point. Uphill starts after taking the Catigan Road. All these are on concrete road. Before reaching the Sitio Habana (where University of Mindanao partnered with the Gawad-Kalinga, house-build program), take the dirt road on the right. Very manageable though when dry but quite slippery when wet. As most bikers say, "when in doubt, just walk".
There is a road going to Sitio Ugis, but we missed it. We ended up somewhere in the banana plantation at the lower portion of Mountain Haven. And be cautious on a paved portion which crosses a creek, half of it is already hanging.
After Mountain Haven, start reaping the investment you made while you were going against gravity.
